This is a segment from an old TV Series called WKRP in Cincinatti. The show was based around a radio station called WKRP and it had quite the cast of characters. In this segment, the radio station’s quirky reporter, Les Nessman, is on the ground doing a live commentary. He doesn’t know it, but he’s covering a marketing stunt that the radio station is doing to get attention. The marketing stunt doesn’t go as planned. This is one of the funniest scenes to be found in a TV Series!
It is important to watch the use of language in certain situations and riding the a school bus is one of those situations. There is no reason to use foul language on the school bus. There are people on the bus that do not appreciate swearing or dirty talk and there are several young people on the bus who should not be exposed to such things. The bus is a small, enclosed space so be aware that voices do carry.
Be respectful and watch the language!

School Bus Rock – Enya : Its Monday morning and its the beginning of another week of school. Monday morning is an appropriate time to listen to Enya as her music can be quite calming and soothing.
It is my job as the Bus Driver to keep you as safe as I can, but bus drivers can’t do everything. You too, can contribute to your own safety. You simply need to ask yourself if your behaviour could put you in danger in less than optimal situations.
The seats are designed so that if there is an actual accident your body would hit the back of the seat in front of you. If you are positioned out in the aisle then the seat in front of you may not stop you. If that happens, know that the front or the back of the bus will be the barrier you hit. The inertial energy involved could be very damaging. The bottom line is to THINK about your behaviour and how it may impact your safety.
