Respect For Others

Everyone, unless proven otherwise, deserves a minimal level of respect. You are not the only one on the bus and you are not identical as everyone else.

Swearing, for example, is tolerated by some as they are seen as just colourful words. Others are offended by it. In the confined environment of a school bus the use of foul language should be avoided as a matter of respect for those around you.

Know that respect does not mean catering to someone else’s beliefs when they are forcing those beliefs on you. Someone who forces their beliefs on others is not being respectful of others. Beware the ‘Karens’ 🙂 !

Don’t Litter the Bus

Show some respect for others on the bus and don’t litter it with your garbage. Also understand that it is the job of the Bus Driver to drive the bus and not act as your personal maid. Its still all about respect!

Knock off the SWEARING

It is important to watch the use of language in certain situations and riding the a school bus is one of those situations. There is no reason to use foul language on the school bus. There are people on the bus that do not appreciate swearing or dirty talk and there are several young people on the bus who should not be exposed to such things. The bus is a small, enclosed space so be aware that voices do carry.

Be respectful and watch the language!
