School Bus Rock – Cure Depeche

This playlist is comprised of tunes from The Cure and Depeche Mode. During the early years both bands were considered Alternative so you would not hear them on mainstream radio stations. Luckily, there was a radio station in Toronto called CFNY that was not mainstream and they would play stuff you wouldn’t hear anywhere else. Both The Cure and Depeche Mode did encounter some mainstream attention. The Cure had Love Cats and Depeche Mode had People Are People. Neither of those tracks really represent the true musical nature of the bands. Nowadays, you can hear music from both bands played on mainstream rock radio stations which I find kind of weird due to the past.
