This playlist is dedicated to Electronic Music. This is a genre with many sub-genres and has influenced many bands. Some of the tracks in this playlist did get a lot of radio play. Other tracks have never been played on radio and never will due to the fact they are of no commercial value to corporations. The Electronic genre is filled with many such independent acts.

NOTABLE TRACKS
Destiny
Destiny is a track from the Electronic group known as Zero 7. This track features the vocals of Sia Furler who is now known professionally as just Sia. I’ve been listening to this track for years and knew nothing of Sia. I do remember her winning a Grammy even though I didn’t know her name or her music. I just remember the woman hiding her face behind a mop of hair. Her vocals on this track are simply excellent! Too bad she went to the corporate dark side for the money.
Oh Yeah
Oh Yeah is a track from Yello and was featured in the 80s movie, Ferris Bueler’s Day Off. This is an early example of electronic music getting mainstream attention.
